Agil Travels and Tours, Africa's top-tier travel and logistics company has called for urgent reforms in the aviation industry in the new year especially as it affects the travel and tourism business in Nigeria. this call was made by the group director and CEO of Agil groups, Ayo Gbeleyi (Agil) on Tuesday.
in a statement made available to the press and signed by the CEO, it highlighted the challenges in the sector in the year 2023, advocating for intentional reforms in the new year.
“I request the Nigeria President Bola Tinubu and Hon. Minister Areo and Aviation, Festus Keyamo to give priority to travel marshal ( travel agency) in the country and to make policies that will encourage travel and tourism businesses in Nigeria. Issues like a hike in ticket prices from Nigeria are alarming as I implore that foreign airlines be called to order.
My deepest appreciation goes to the Hon. Minister of Interior for his impact on improving the international passport process. we look forward to greater feats in the new year.” He said.
The CEO appreciated past and present partners and staff who have contributed to the growth of the company, reiterating the need for staff to uphold the integrity of the firm bearing in mind the company's mantra.
